Master Masons
When water damage, structural failure, or severe deterioration has gone too far for repairs, a chimney rebuild is the answer. We perform partial rebuilds (above the roofline) and full rebuilds (from the ground up) using color-matched brick and proper mortar. Every rebuild includes a new crown, cap, flashing, and liner. Free Chimney Rebuild Assessment — No Obligation
Most chimney damage can be fixed with tuckpointing, crown repair, or waterproofing. A rebuild is only needed when the damage is too severe or too widespread for targeted repairs. Here’s what pushes a chimney past the point of repair:
Structural failure. The chimney is leaning, separating from the house, or has large sections of brick that are loose. This usually means the mortar has failed throughout the structure, not just in spots.
Severe spalling. When dozens of bricks have faces popping off due to water damage, replacing individual bricks doesn’t make sense. The entire above-roofline section needs to come down and be rebuilt with new brick.
Storm or fire damage. Lightning strikes, hail damage, or chimney fires can compromise the structural integrity of the masonry in ways that can’t be repaired from the outside.
Not sure if you need a rebuild or just repairs? Start with a chimney inspection. We’ll tell you honestly whether repairs can save the chimney or if rebuilding is the better investment.
Partial rebuild (above roofline): $2,000–$6,000 depending on height and brick type. Full rebuild: $8,000–$20,000+. These prices include all components — crown, cap, flashing, and liner. We provide detailed quotes after on-site assessment.
Partial rebuild: 2–4 days. Full rebuild: 1–2 weeks. Weather can affect the timeline — mortar needs dry conditions to cure properly. We schedule around Allen’s weather patterns to ensure quality.
Yes. We source color-matched brick that blends with your existing masonry. For partial rebuilds, we’re careful to match the brick pattern, mortar color, and joint profile so the new section is indistinguishable from the original.
Homeowner’s insurance typically covers chimney damage from sudden events — lightning, hail, wind, fire. It usually does not cover damage from gradual deterioration (water damage, age). We can provide documentation and photos to support your insurance claim if applicable.
